I once read something about love in one author’s book (don’t remember which one of them). Something that sounded like this- “Everyone deserves to be loved, even a little, in their lifetime”. “A little” meaning “a little in time”, not “with little intensity”. And right is that! Love is unaffected by time!
I think it was Camilo Jose Cela’s “Cristo versus Arizona”. I’ll let you find the exact quote.
