Snow White

I grew up with Snow White.. I broke my VHS forwarding again and again over the “wicked witch” scenes . Probably saw it a million times.

When I was a little girl, I used to sing over the well to hear my echo, just like Snow White. My great grand mother saw the movie just one time, on the national channel. She didn’t know how to read, so I translated for her. She enjoyed every moment, as she were there, crying out ” The old hag poisoned the poor girl!!”. As a matter of fact, I think she was the first one who told me the story of Snow White. Great childhood memories…

I still have the Snow White itch! Acrylics on canvas, 50x40cm.
